Pass the challenge without sprinting
Challenges are usually failed in the last stretch. The target is close, size goes up to finish, and the daily limit breaks first. There is no time limit on MFC evaluations, so the only reason to hurry is impatience.
Plan the calendar as well as the risk. The 1-Step needs at least 3 trading days in evaluation. Each 2-Step phase needs 3 profitable days of at least 0.5% of the phase’s starting balance, on top of the 8% and 5% targets. Once funded, a 15% consistency rule decides whether a payout can be requested.
| Average per trading day | 8% (2-Step, phase 1) | 10% (1-Step) |
|---|---|---|
| 0.25% | 32 days | 40 days |
| 0.5% | 16 days | 20 days |
| 1% | 8 days | 10 days |
Simple sums on the starting balance. The half-percent row is the one that leaves the most room under a 5% daily limit.
What to focus on
Pace the target
Turn the target into a daily average and stop for the day once it is reached.
Earn qualifying days, not one big day
On the 2-Step a profitable day counts only at 0.5% or more. Three steady days beat one outsized win.
Buy only the add-ons your setup needs
News trading and weekend holding are options at checkout. Add them when your setup trades the news or holds over the weekend, not as insurance.
