Questions about the rules
Detailed answers for the forex programs. Stocks and Prediction Markets rules are on their program pages.
What is the profit target for the assessment phase?
The evaluation target is 10% of your starting balance. The funded account has no profit target.
On 1-Step and 2-Step evaluations bought from 22 October 2026, no single day may make more than 50% of the total profit (best-day rule). On the 2-Step it applies in each step.
How is the Daily Loss Limit calculated?
It is 5% of the previous end-of-day closed balance, reset at 5 PM ET (America/New_York). If current equity reaches or falls below that floor, the account is breached.
How does the Maximum Drawdown work?
The maximum drawdown is 10%, trailing on your highest closed balance. It locks at your starting balance once you are 10% in closed profit.
Is there a maximum time limit to pass?
No, there is no maximum time requirement.
What is the minimum trading duration required?
The minimum time to complete the MFC Challenge is 3 trading days.
On accounts bought from 22 October 2026, a day counts as a trading day only if the trades you open that day put at least 0.25% of your starting balance at risk ($250 on a $100,000 account). Risk is the loss to your stop-loss or the margin the trade uses, whichever is larger. This applies to the minimum trading days in the evaluation and on the funded account.
On the funded account you need at least 3 trading days in each payout cycle before you can request a payout (accounts bought from 22 October 2026).
What happens if I don't trade for a while?
Your account becomes inactive after 30 days. You must place at least one trade within this period.
What leverage is provided?
Forex leverage is 1:50.
Is a stop-loss mandatory for every trade?
No, a stop-loss is not required.
Open risk limit (accounts bought from 22 October 2026): the total risk of your open positions may not be more than 3% of your account balance. A position with a stop-loss counts with the loss at its stop; a position without a stop-loss counts with its full value, so larger trades need a stop-loss. The maximum position size is checked for all open positions on the account together, not per order.
What is the default profit split?
The profit share starts at 80%. You can increase it to 90% or 95% using paid add-ons.
What is the profit target for each stage?
Step 1 is 8% and Step 2 is 5%. The funded account has no profit target.
On 1-Step and 2-Step evaluations bought from 22 October 2026, no single day may make more than 50% of the total profit (best-day rule). On the 2-Step it applies in each step.
How is the Daily Loss Limit calculated?
The daily loss limit is 5% of the previous end-of-day closed balance in Step 1, Step 2 and on the funded account, reset at 5 PM ET (America/New_York). Reaching it is a hard breach.
How does the Maximum Drawdown work?
The maximum drawdown is 10% static from the starting balance in Step 1, Step 2 and on the funded account: the floor stays at 90% of the starting balance. Reaching it is a hard breach.
What leverage is provided across the stages?
Forex leverage is 1:100 in Step 1, Step 2 and on the funded account.
What is the minimum trading duration required?
Each step needs at least 3 profitable days, each earning at least 0.5% of the step’s starting balance. On the funded account you need at least 3 trading days in each payout cycle before you can request a payout (accounts bought from 22 October 2026).
What are the rules regarding account inactivity?
30 days without a trade ends the account (hard breach) in Step 1, Step 2 and on the funded account. Place at least one trade within every 30 days.
Is a stop-loss mandatory for your trades?
No. A stop-loss is not required in Step 1, Step 2 or on the funded account.
Is there a maximum time limit to pass the stages?
No. There is no time limit in Step 1, Step 2 or on the funded account.
What is the profit split on the funded account?
The funded profit split is 80%. A paid add-on raises it to 90% or 95%.
What is Instant Funded?
Instant Funded lets you skip the evaluation and begin directly with a simulated funded account using real market quotes. MFC is not a broker and does not accept customer deposits. Profit split is 70/30; an add-on raises it to 80/20. Profit and payouts are never guaranteed.
Account Sizes and Pricing
Instant Funded comes in five account sizes: $5,000, $10,000, $25,000, $50,000 and $100,000. Each is a one-time fee with no monthly charges. The current price of every size is shown on the Instant Funded page and at checkout.
Profit Split Structure
Your profit split is 70/30. An optional add-on raises it to 80/20.
Payout Schedule
The first eligible payout request is 14 days after your first trade. After that, you can request again 7 days after your previous request. Each request is at least $50. One payout request can be up to $5,000; if your profit is larger, the rest is paid with your next requests. Submit through the trader dashboard and check the next eligible date and all account requirements.
This is an eligibility schedule, not guaranteed processing time. See funded accounts and payouts for the review process.
Drawdown Limits
- Daily Drawdown: 3% of the previous end-of-day closed balance, reset at 5 PM ET (America/New_York). Daily floor = prior EOD balance × 0.97.
- Maximum Drawdown: 6% trailing on your highest closed balance; it stops rising once it reaches the starting balance. On a $100,000 account, the floor starts at $94,000, is $97,000 after a $103,000 closed balance and stays at $100,000 from $106,000.
- Consistency Rule: 35%.
- Minimum Trading Days: 3 in each payout cycle on accounts bought from 22 October 2026 (none on older accounts).
- Forex Leverage: 1:30.
A hard breach occurs if current equity reaches or falls below the applicable floor. The homepage calculator, checkout, dashboard, and accepted agreement control the account-specific version.
Trading Rules
Activity Requirement
You must place at least one trade every 30 days to keep your account active. Failure to do so will result in account breach.
Leverage
- Forex: 1:30
- Commodities: 1:20
- Crypto: 1:2
Prohibited Strategies
The following trading behaviors are not allowed and may result in breach or disqualification:
- Martingale and grid strategies
- Arbitrage or high-frequency trading (HFT)
- Scalping, gambling, or “all-in” trades
- Account sharing or third-party account management (except automated trading by GemiFX's AI on GemiFX AI accounts, see below)
- Switching strategies between accounts
- Hedging between accounts
- Copying trades from or to another person’s account (other traders, signal services, trade copiers fed by someone else)
News Trading
On accounts bought from 7 October 2026, opening new FX and metals positions is blocked from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact news. Closing a position is always allowed. The News Trading Add-On removes this restriction.
High-impact news includes central bank rate decisions (also the Bank of Japan), the FOMC and ECB press conferences, US jobs and inflation (CPI), euro-area and German CPI, the US ISM manufacturing and services PMIs, and jobs and CPI for Canada and Australia. The weekly EIA crude oil inventories report counts for oil (WTI and Brent) only. On Bank of Japan decision days, new JPY-pair positions are blocked for about two hours (02:28–04:32 UTC).
On accounts bought from 22 October 2026 with the News Trading add-on, only 50% of the profit from trades opened or closed inside a news window counts toward payouts; losses count in full.
Weekend Holding
Holding open positions over the weekend is prohibited unless the Weekend Holding Add-On is purchased.
EAs and copy trading: expert advisors (EAs) are allowed by agreement, so contact support before you use one; copy trading is allowed only between your own MyFundedCapital accounts, and every copied trade must follow the trading rules: no martingale, no opposite trades across accounts or firms, no all-in bets. Copying another person is not allowed: no copying other traders, no signal services, no trade copiers fed by someone else’s account and no account management by a third party. If accounts of different people show the same trades at the same time, payouts on those accounts are held while we review them. Accounts that trade as one group count as one trader for the account limits. On GemiFX AI accounts, GemiFX's AI may also trade on the account holder's behalf (see GemiFX AI accounts below). Scalping is not allowed. High-frequency trading (HFT) and hedging are prohibited. You remain responsible for every order and for compliance with all program rules.
Account sharing, third-party account management, platform or pricing exploitation, latency/feed arbitrage, and coordinated trading intended to bypass risk limits remain prohibited. The one exception is automated trading by GemiFX's AI on GemiFX AI accounts (see below). If your setup is unclear, ask support for written confirmation before using it.
GemiFX AI accounts
Accounts purchased through the GemiFX checkout are GemiFX AI accounts. On these accounts, automated trading by GemiFX's AI on the account holder's behalf is permitted and is not prohibited third-party account management. The account holder remains the buyer, who consented to AI trading at purchase. All other Instant rules apply to every trade, including trades placed by the AI.
What Happens If I Breach the Rules?
A hard breach results in immediate account termination and loss of eligibility for any payout, regardless of profitability. You may, however, purchase a new Instant Funded plan to start again.
Optional Add-Ons
News Trading Access and Weekend Holding are separate optional permissions, each published at +15% of the plan price. Other available options and the final total are shown in the current calculator/checkout. Select the options you need before paying and confirm they appear on your order.
On accounts bought from 22 October 2026 with the News Trading add-on, only 50% of the profit from trades opened or closed inside a news window counts toward payouts; losses count in full.
Do not assume an add-on can be applied retrospectively or changes unrelated loss limits, consistency or prohibited-strategy rules.
Where you trade
Instant Funded accounts trade in the MyFundedCapital Terminal, our own web trading platform. Open it from your Dashboard after purchase.
Is This a Live Account?
MFC evaluation and funded accounts are simulated accounts using real market quotes. MFC is not a broker and does not accept client deposits. A program fee pays for access to the service; it is not money deposited into a brokerage account. Eligible performance rewards are subject to the program rules and review. Paying a fee does not guarantee passing, profit or a payout.
Who Is This Model Best For?
Instant Funded is ideal for:
- Confident and experienced traders
- Those who want to avoid multi-stage evaluation models
- Traders looking for immediate access to capital
- Individuals seeking flexibility and fast scaling opportunities

“Traders shouldn’t have to beg for capital or guess the rules. So every MyFundedCapital program has its own rulebook, and you can read it before you pay. We ask one question: can you manage risk? If you can, you’re welcome here. If a rule ever feels unclear, that’s ours to fix.”
