Your market narrows the choice before any rule does.
Lower entry price usually means more phases; no phases means tighter limits.
Compare the daily limit in dollars, not the headline account size.
The five programs in one table
| Program | Phases | Target | Daily limit | Max loss | Split | From |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2-Step Challenge | 2 | 8%, then 5% | 5% | 10% static | 80% to 95% | $29 |
| 1-Step Challenge | 1 | 10% | 5% | 10% trailing | 80% to 95% | $189 |
| Instant Funded | 0 | None | 3% | 6% trailing | 70% to 80% | $95 |
| MFC Stocks | 1 | 7% | 2% daily pause | 5% trailing | 70% to 80% | $219 |
| Prediction Markets | 1 | 10% | 3% | 6% trailing equity | 75% to 90% | $274 |
The higher split figure needs a profit split add-on. Prices are the lowest one-time fee for the smallest size, before add-ons.
Start with your market
- Forex, gold, silver and crypto: the 2-Step, 1-Step and Instant Funded all trade in the MyFundedCapital Terminal, with major forex pairs, gold and silver, and Bitcoin, Ether and Solana.
- US stocks and ETFs: MFC Stocks trades the regular US session (09:30–16:00 New York time; new entries stop at 15:45 and positions close from 15:50), so you are flat every night and every weekend.
- Real-world events: Prediction Markets lets you take YES or NO positions on Polymarket outcomes, with no leverage.
Who each program suits
- 2-Step Challenge: patient traders who want the lowest entry price and a floor that never moves. Each phase also needs 3 profitable days of at least 0.5%, and funded accounts can scale up to $500,000.
- 1-Step Challenge: traders who want one target and a faster first payout, after 7 days. The floor trails your best closed balance until it locks, so it rewards steady growth.
- Instant Funded: experienced traders with a tested risk plan who want to skip the evaluation. The limits are tighter (3% daily, 6% maximum) and the first payout opens after 14 days.
- MFC Stocks: intraday stock traders. Hitting the daily limit pauses the day instead of ending the account, and during the evaluation no single day may make more than 40% of your profit.
- Prediction Markets: traders who read news and probabilities. One event may add at most 0.5% of the account size as potential profit, and the evaluation has a time limit.
Three questions to decide
- Can you live with a moving floor? If a trailing floor makes you tense after a winning week, the static 2-Step floor is easier to plan around.
- How much room do you need in one day? On $10,000, the 1-Step allows $500 of daily loss; Instant Funded allows $300. Size your usual losing day against that.
- What payout rhythm suits you? The first request opens after 7 days on the 1-Step, 7 on Prediction Markets, 14 on the 2-Step, 14 on Instant Funded and 14 on MFC Stocks.
Add-ons such as news trading, weekend holding or a higher split are chosen at checkout and change the price, so compare programs with the options you would actually buy.
None of the programs is easier by design. Each one trades a lower price or a faster start for something else: more phases, tighter limits or a narrower market.

1. How does a prop firm challenge work?
- The fee is the most you can lose: you deposit no trading capital.
- Two loss limits apply at once, and open losses count toward both.
- Passing starts a review and verification; payouts follow a fixed schedule.
2. What is the difference between a prop firm account and a broker account?
- A broker holds your deposit; a prop firm sells access to an account for a fee.
- At a prop firm the fee caps your loss, but the rules decide how long the account lives.
- A withdrawal is your money; a payout is your share of eligible profit.
3. Which funded account program fits you?
- Your market narrows the choice before any rule does.
- Lower entry price usually means more phases; no phases means tighter limits.
- Compare the daily limit in dollars, not the headline account size.
4. How do you choose a funded account size?
- Rules are percentages, so a bigger account is not easier, only larger.
- Pick the size where 0.5% risk in dollars feels routine to you.
- Small accounts meet payout minimums later; large ones meet the cap sooner.
5. What do prop trading terms like drawdown and equity mean?
- Balance counts closed trades; equity adds open profit and loss.
- Limits are checked on equity, so open losses can end an account.
- Lots and pips turn a risk in dollars into an order size.

Questions
Can I hold more than one program at the same time?
Yes, you can run different programs side by side, but the rules limit you to one active evaluation per plan size and type, and hedging between your own accounts is prohibited.
Which program has the lowest entry price?
The 2-Step Challenge, from $29 for the smallest account. It asks for two phases in return.
