Lesson 1 of 3 · Instant Funded

What are the Instant Funded rules?

Beginner3 min readMyFundedCapital Research · rules as of 17 Oct 2026

Short answer

There is no target and no minimum trading days. Equity must stay above a 3% daily floor and a 6% max-loss floor that trails your best closed balance, and a 35% consistency rule applies from the start.

01

No target, no minimum days: the limits apply from your first trade.

02

Daily floor 3% and trailing max-loss floor 6%, both checked on equity.

03

Leverage: 1:30 forex, 1:20 commodities, 1:2 crypto; no indices yet.

What you get and what you give up

Instant Funded skips the evaluation. You trade a funded account from your first order and keep 70% of eligible profit, or 80% with the split add-on. The price of that speed is tighter limits: 3% daily and 6% max loss, against 5% and 10% on the 1-Step Challenge.

Instant Funded suits traders who already have a tested approach and want to skip a multi-stage evaluation. If you are still building your method, the extra room of a Challenge can be the gentler start.

The daily floor

Daily floor = yesterday’s closed balance × (1 − 3%). On the first day of a $10,000 account it is $9,700: just $300 of room. If you close a day at $10,200, the next floor is $9,894.

The test runs on equity, so open losses, commissions and swaps count at once. Open profit does not raise the reference until you close it. The day resets at 17:00 New York time.

The trailing max-loss floor

The max-loss floor starts at $9,400 on $10,000. It follows your highest closed balance up, dollar for dollar, and stops rising once it reaches your starting balance. That happens when your best closed balance reaches $10,600. From then on the floor stays at $10,000. The next lesson turns this into a risk plan.

As on the daily floor, the reference is closed balance but the test is equity. An open profit does not lift the floor, and an open loss counts against it straight away. Early in the account the two floors are close together, so the daily floor and the max-loss floor can both be near your equity on the same bad day. Check both before each order.

Leverage, news and weekends

  • Leverage: 1:30 forex, 1:20 commodities, 1:2 crypto. Indices are not offered yet.
  • News: no new FX or metal positions from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact news. Closing is always allowed. The news trading add-on lifts the rule.
  • Weekends: holding positions over the weekend is not allowed without the Weekend Holding add-on.
  • Activity: place at least one trade every 30 days.
  • Not allowed: martingale and grid, arbitrage, high-frequency trading, scalping, all-in trades, account sharing, hedging between accounts and excessive very short trades.
  • Allowed: copy trading, between your own accounts and from other traders or signal services, as long as the trades follow these rules; expert advisors only by agreement, so write to support first.

The consistency rule

Because there is no evaluation, consistency applies from day one. Divide your best day by your total profit: the result may not exceed 35%. With $1,000 of total profit, your best day may be at most $350. Later losses lower total profit and push the share up, so check it before you request a payout.

“Traders shouldn’t have to beg for capital or guess the rules. So every MyFundedCapital program has its own rulebook, and you can read it before you pay. We ask one question: can you manage risk? If you can, you’re welcome here. If a rule ever feels unclear, that’s ours to fix.”
