Lesson 4 of 4 · 1-Step Challenge

How do 1-Step funded payouts and the fee refund work?

Intermediate3 min readMyFundedCapital Research · rules as of 17 Oct 2026

Short answer

Your first payout request opens 7 days after your first funded trade, then every 7 days. You keep 80% of eligible profit, or 90% or 95% with an add-on, and the challenge fee comes back once with your first approved payout.

01

First request 7 days after your first funded trade, then every 7 days.

02

Each request: at least $50, at most $5,000.

03

The fee, add-ons included, comes back once with your first approved payout, on top of it.

From pass to funded

After you pass, the account is reviewed. You complete identity verification and the trader agreement in the MyFundedCapital Dashboard, and then the funded account is issued. A target reached on screen is not an approval by itself.

The funded account has no profit target. The 5% daily floor and the 10% trailing floor stay. One rule is new: consistency. Your best day may not make up more than 35% of your total profit. With $2,000 of total profit, the best day may be at most $700.

Consistency is checked against total profit, so later losses can push your best day above the line even if nothing changed on that day. The safest approach is the one you used in the evaluation: steady days, fixed risk, no single trade that could become most of your month.

The payout calendar

The clock starts at your first trade on the funded account, not when you buy or pass. Your first request opens on day 7, and after that every 7 days. Each request must be at least $50 and at most $5,000.

If you want more flexible timing, the Payout On-Demand add-on is available at checkout. An eligible date is when you may submit, not when the money arrives; recent payouts average 1:46h from request to approval.

Your split and the add-on steps

You keep 80% of eligible profit as standard. A profit split add-on, chosen at checkout, raises it to 90% or 95%.

SplitHow you get itYour share of $1,000
80%Standard$800
90%Profit split add-on$900
95%Profit split add-on$950

Choose add-ons before you pay. Do not assume one can be added to an existing account later.

The fee refund

On current 1-Step accounts, everything you paid for the challenge, add-ons included, comes back once, together with your first approved payout. It is paid on top of the payout and sits outside the $5,000 maximum. If you paid $189 for the challenge, that $189 arrives alongside your first approved payout.

Older accounts may have different terms. If you are unsure which version you hold, compare your Dashboard with your accepted agreement and ask support.

What can hold a payout back

  • Identity verification is not finished.
  • Your best day is above 35% of total profit.
  • The request is below $50 or the date is not yet eligible.
  • A hard breach: it ends the account and removes the profit split on that account.

One more point: a payout takes money out of the account, and the floors do not move down because of it. Check the limits shown after the payout before you trade again.

If a request is pending or rejected, read the status in your Dashboard first. Check whether verification, the agreement or your payment-method details are incomplete. If the reason is unclear, send support your masked account reference and the request date; never share passwords or verification codes.

“Traders shouldn’t have to beg for capital or guess the rules. So every MyFundedCapital program has its own rulebook, and you can read it before you pay. We ask one question: can you manage risk? If you can, you’re welcome here. If a rule ever feels unclear, that’s ours to fix.”
