Specifications

Profitable Day Definition

Each evaluation phase requires at least 3 profitable trading days. A qualifying day must earn at least 0.5% of that phase’s initial balance. The daily result is the lower of end-of-day balance or equity, minus the previous day’s balance.

For example, on a $100,000 account, a qualifying day requires at least $500. A $300 day is profitable, but does not count towards the three required days. The 8% and 5% phase targets must also be met.

Daily Loss Limit

The daily loss limit is 5% of the previous end-of-day closed balance. The daily floor resets at 5 PM ET (America/New_York) and equals that reference balance × 0.95. Current equity reaching or falling below the floor is a hard breach.

For example, a $100,000 reference balance sets a $95,000 daily floor. Open losses, commissions and swaps count against current equity; unrealised profit does not raise the closed-balance reference.

Refund Policy

After you complete Step 2, the challenge fee becomes refundable with your first payout. The refund is the amount you actually paid, excluding any discount.

Overnight & Weekend Holding

Holding trades overnight and over the weekend is allowed.

Indices Weekend Swaps

Holding indices over the weekend is allowed but carries a high swap.

Inactivity Rule (30 Days)

You must place at least one trade every 30 days. Failure to do so results in account breach.

News Trading Rules

Holding open trades over news is allowed. Executing orders from 2 minutes before until 2 minutes after high-impact news is not allowed.

Profit Split

Your profit share starts at 80%. It rises to 85% at $175,000, 90% at $250,000 and 100% at $350,000. The $350,000, $400,000 and $450,000 levels include a $4,000 monthly fixed payout; the $500,000 level includes $10,000 monthly. These are the levels in the Scaling Plan below.

Max Capital Allocation

Maximum number of active accounts per trader: 1X $5K account + 1X $20K account + 1X any other account.

Scaling Plan

The Scaling Plan is part of the funded stage of the 2-Step Challenge, previously called Scale Up Challenge. Pass Step 1 and Step 2, then grow your funded account by reaching the 10% scaling target and completing 3 profitable days, each earning at least 0.5% of the initial balance. Request your payout to move to the next account size in the table, up to $500,000.

A larger account and a higher profit split are separate changes: the account follows the size ladder, while your share increases at the $175,000, $250,000 and $350,000 levels.

Payout Requests

You do not need to reach the 10% scaling target to request an ordinary payout. Payout requests follow the account’s payout schedule. The 10% target is for increasing your funded account size, not an extra evaluation phase.

Payout Schedule

The first eligible payout request is 14 days after the first trade on the funded account. Later requests are every 14 days; an applicable purchased add-on can change the cadence. The 14-day cycle resets when a new scaled account is issued.

Grow your funded account

The 2-Step Scaling Plan: reach the next target, receive your profit share, move up the account ladder.

Start from your funded account size in the ladder. Each 10% target unlocks the next size, with at least 3 profitable days (≥0.5% each) required for scaling and the funded-account rules still applying. Ordinary payouts do not require the 10% growth target.

Example: $5,000 → $7,500. A 10% target means $500 profit and a $5,500 balance. At an 80/20 split, $400 is your profit share and $100 is MFC’s share. The next funded account size is $7,500 — the $5,500 target balance is not the new account size.
