Lesson 7 of 10 · Intermediate

What is the consistency rule and how do you stay inside it?

By MFC Research · rules current as of 3 Oct 2026

Short answer

On funded accounts no single day may contribute more than 15% of your total profit. It does not apply during the Challenge evaluation, and Prediction Markets uses a Max Profit Per Event rule instead.

The calculation

Best day share = best profitable day ÷ total accumulated profit × 100. With $5,000 of total profit, the largest single day may be at most $750 (15% of $5,000).

Where it applies

It applies to Instant Funded and to funded 1-Step and 2-Step accounts. It does not apply while you are still in the Challenge evaluation. On Prediction Markets the equivalent control is a maximum profit of 0.5% of plan size per event.

Why it exists

It separates steady performance from one lucky trade. A funded account that earned most of its profit in one session is closer to a bet than to a repeatable process.

Trading with it

Keep daily profit close to your average. If one day runs far ahead, the fix is more ordinary days, not giving the profit back. Track the best-day share in your journal before you request a payout.
