Getting Started
What is MyFundedCapital?
MyFundedCapital is a proprietary trading firm that gives traders access to our capital — up to $100,000 — without risking their own money. You prove your trading skill through an evaluation or skip directly to funded trading with Instant Funding. Keep up to 100% of the profits.
We operate in 180+ countries, support multiple trading platforms (DXTrade, GooeyPro, cTrader), and process payouts weekly.
How does MFC work? What's the funding process?
Three paths to funded trading:
1-Step Challenge — one evaluation phase. Hit 10% profit target, respect drawdown rules, get funded.
Scale Up Challenge (2-Step) — two evaluation phases (8% then 5% profit targets). More room to prove consistency.
Instant Funding — skip the evaluation. Start trading with a simulated funded account using real market quotes.
Once funded, you trade a simulated funded account, keep your profits (split 70–100% depending on plan), and request payouts on schedule.
Which program is right for me?
Pick 1-Step if you’re confident in your edge and want the fastest path to funded — one phase, lower price.
Pick Scale Up (2-Step) if you prefer to demonstrate consistency over two phases at a lower entry price.
Pick Instant Funding if you have an existing track record and want to skip evaluations entirely — higher upfront cost, but you trade a simulated funded account using real market quotes.
How do I purchase a plan?
Choose the program, account size, platform, and any add-ons in the current homepage calculator or checkout. The active homepage offer is 5% off with code MFC5; confirm that the checkout total changes before paying. Once an eligible payment clears, account instructions are sent through the official email and dashboard flow.
How do current MFC discounts work?
The active homepage offer is 5% off with code MFC5. Enter the code at checkout and confirm that the total changes before paying. Promotions can change or expire, so the price and terms shown at checkout control. Support cannot promise a retroactive or permanent discount unless the published campaign terms say so.
1-Step Challenge
What is the 1-Step Challenge?
A single-phase evaluation. Hit a 10% profit target on your evaluation account while respecting the drawdown rules, and you get funded. Minimum 3 trading days. No time limit.
Funded accounts start at 80% profit split and can be increased to 90%, 95%, or 100% with the Profit Split Boost add-on.
What are the rules of the 1-Step Challenge?
Profit target: 10% on the evaluation account.
Maximum drawdown: 10%, trailing on closed balance, locks at starting balance once you reach +10% profit.
Daily loss limit: 5% based on previous day’s balance (resets at 5 PM EST).
Minimum trading days: 3.
Maximum inactivity: 30 days. Place at least one trade or your account breaches.
Leverage: 1:50.
How much does the 1-Step Challenge cost?
Use the current homepage calculator or checkout for the authoritative live price. The active homepage offer is 5% off with code MFC5; confirm that the total changes before paying. Account size, platform, add-ons, currency, taxes, and campaign terms can change the final amount.
What happens when I pass the 1-Step Challenge?
Once you hit the 10% profit target while respecting drawdown rules and the 3 minimum trading days, you’ll receive an email with instructions to complete your Trader Agreement and KYC via SumSub.
Once verified, your funded account is created and credentials are sent within 24–48 business hours. From there, you trade a simulated funded account. No equity growth target on the funded account.
What's the profit split on a funded 1-Step account?
Funded accounts start at 80% profit split (you keep 80%, MFC keeps 20%). You can increase this to 90%, 95%, or 100% with the Profit Split Boost add-on at purchase.
Scale Up (2-Step) Challenge
What is the Scale Up Challenge?
A two-phase evaluation. Phase 1: hit 8% profit. Phase 2: hit 5% profit. Same drawdown rules apply in both phases. Lower entry cost than 1-Step, more room to demonstrate consistency.
Funded accounts start at 80% profit split, upgradeable to 100% with the Profit Split Boost add-on.
What are the rules in each phase?
Phase 1: 8% profit target. 10% max drawdown (static). 5% daily loss limit. Minimum 3 trading days. No time limit.
Phase 2: 5% profit target. Same drawdown rules. Minimum 3 trading days. No time limit.
Live (funded): no profit target, same drawdown rules apply.
Leverage in both phases: 1:100.
How much does Scale Up cost?
Use the current homepage calculator or checkout for the authoritative live price. The active homepage offer is 5% off with code MFC5; confirm that the total changes before paying. Account size, platform, add-ons, currency, taxes, and campaign terms can change the final amount.
What happens after I pass both phases?
Same as 1-Step: email with Trader Agreement instructions, KYC via SumSub, funded account issued within 24–48 business hours. From there, you trade a simulated funded account with no profit target.
Your first payout becomes available 14 days after your first trade on the funded account. Subsequent payouts every 14 days (or weekly with the add-on).
What's the profit split on a funded 1-Step account?
Funded accounts start at 80% profit split (you keep 80%, MFC keeps 20%). You can increase this to 90%, 95%, or 100% with the Profit Split Boost add-on at purchase.
Instant Funding
What is Instant Funding?
Instant Funding lets you skip the evaluation and begin directly with a simulated funded account using real market quotes. MFC is not a broker and does not accept customer deposits. Profit split starts at 70/30 and can improve under the current program and add-on terms. Profit and payouts are never guaranteed.
What are the Instant Funding rules?
- Daily Drawdown: 3% of the previous end-of-day closed balance, reset at 5 PM ET (America/New_York). Daily floor = prior EOD balance × 0.97.
- Maximum Drawdown: initially 6% of starting balance; it tightens to 5% of starting balance after +5% profit. On a $100,000 account, the floor starts at $94,000 and tightens to $95,000.
- Consistency Rule: 15%.
- Minimum Trading Days: none.
- Forex Leverage: 1:30.
A hard breach occurs if current equity reaches or falls below the applicable floor. The homepage calculator, checkout, dashboard, and accepted agreement control the account-specific version.

What is the Consistency Rule and how does it work?
The Consistency Rule limits how much of your total profit can come from a single trading day. No single day’s profit can exceed 15% of your account’s total accumulated profit.
Example: if your funded account has $5,000 in total profit, no single trading day can have contributed more than $750 (15%) to that total. This rule encourages consistent, sustainable trading rather than single-trade windfalls.
The rule applies to both Instant Funding accounts and funded Challenge accounts (after passing). It does not apply during the evaluation phase of Challenge accounts.
When do I get my first payout on Instant Funding?
Your first payout is available 14 days after your first trade. After that, payouts are available every 7 days, provided you’ve placed at least one trade in the cycle.
Maximum withdrawal per payout: $5,000.
What's the profit split on Instant Funding?
Profit split scales with your performance:
Starts at 70/30 (you keep 70%).
80/20 after reaching 10% profit.
90/10 after reaching 20% profit.
Add the Profit Split Boost add-on at purchase to push your final split to 100/0.
Payouts & Withdrawals
When can I get my first payout?
1-Step funded: first payout is available 7 days after your first trade on the funded account.
Scale Up (2-Step) funded: first payout is available 14 days after your first trade.
Instant Funding: first payout is available 14 days after your first trade.
How often can I withdraw?
1-Step funded: every 7 days. Optional Payout on Demand add-on available.
Scale Up funded: every 14 days by default. Add-on for weekly or on-demand payouts.
Instant Funding: every 7 days after the first payout.
All accounts: you must have placed at least one trade in the cycle to be eligible.
What's the maximum I can withdraw per payout?
Maximum withdrawal per payout: $5,000, across all account types.
If your profit exceeds $5,000 in a single cycle, the remainder rolls over to the next payout cycle.
How do payouts affect my drawdown?
Once your maximum drawdown locks (after reaching the profit threshold for your account type), it stays locked at the starting balance — it does not reset after payouts.
Example: you have a $100,000 funded account, grew it to $112,000, requested a $10,000 payout at 80/20 split. You receive $8,000, MFC keeps $2,000, balance drops to $102,000. Your max drawdown is locked at $100,000 — you can lose up to $2,000 before breaching.
Always leave a buffer after payouts. Taking full profit without a buffer can put you close to a breach.
How long does it take to receive my payout?
Payouts are typically processed within 1–2 business days of approval. The time to actually receive funds depends on your withdrawal method:
Bank transfer: 2–5 business days.
Crypto (Confirmo): typically within hours after processing.
Other methods: variable, listed at withdrawal request.
Are there any fees for SWIFT or bank transfer payouts?
Yes. If you choose to receive your payout via SWIFT or bank transfer, a fixed bank transfer fee of $30 will apply. This fee is deducted from the payout amount and covers banking, intermediary, and processing costs related to international transfers. Where available, crypto payouts may be used as an alternative to reduce transfer fees.
What if I have a hard breach with profit in my account?
A hard breach (exceeding daily or max drawdown) results in immediate account closure. Any unpaid profits are forfeited as per the Trader Agreement.
You can purchase a new plan and start over at any time.
Trading Rules
What is a Hard Breach?
A hard breach means you’ve violated either the Daily Loss Limit or the Maximum Drawdown rule. When this happens:
Your account is closed immediately.
Any pending profits are forfeited.
You’re ineligible for any payout.
You may purchase a new plan to start over.
How is the Daily Loss Limit calculated?
The Daily Loss Limit is program-specific and resets at 5 PM ET (America/New_York). For 1-Step and Scale Up, the daily floor is the previous end-of-day closed balance × 0.95. For Instant Funding, it is the previous end-of-day closed balance × 0.97. A hard breach occurs when current equity reaches or falls below the applicable floor. Prediction Markets use a separate equity-based rule: prior end-of-day equity × 0.97.
Example: a $100,000 reference balance creates a $95,000 floor at 5% or a $97,000 floor at 3%. Floating profit does not raise a closed-balance reference until realized; commissions and swaps affect current equity.
How is Maximum Drawdown calculated?
1-Step (10% trailing): starts 10% below your starting balance. Trails up with your highest closed balance until you reach +10% profit, then locks at your starting balance.
Scale Up / 2-Step (10% static): 10% below starting balance, does not trail.
Instant Funding (6% trailing): 6% trailing, locks at starting balance after +6% profit.
What trading practices are not allowed?
Prohibited behavior includes platform or pricing exploitation, latency/feed arbitrage, account sharing, third-party account management, coordinated hedging intended to bypass risk limits, gambling/all-in behavior, and other manipulative execution described in the applicable program terms.
Yes. EAs, automated strategies, copy traders, and trade copiers are allowed when you own or are authorized to use the tool and retain exclusive control of every MFC account involved. You remain responsible for every order and for compliance with all program rules.
Account sharing, third-party account management, platform or pricing exploitation, latency/feed arbitrage, and coordinated trading intended to bypass risk limits remain prohibited. If your setup is unclear, ask support for written confirmation before using it.
Can I trade during news events?
By default, opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a major news event is prohibited. Existing positions can be held through news.
If you want to trade news freely, purchase the News Trading add-on at account purchase. This removes the restriction.
Can I hold positions over the weekend?
By default, all positions must be closed before the market closes Friday. Holding positions through the weekend is prohibited.
If you want to hold over weekends, purchase the Weekend Holding add-on at account purchase.
What's the inactivity rule?
All accounts (evaluation and funded) require at least one trade every 30 days. If you go 30 days without trading, the account is considered inactive and breaches automatically.
This rule prevents account hoarding and keeps the system fair for active traders.
Account Management
Can I have multiple accounts?
Yes, with limits:
Only one active evaluation per plan type and size at any time (e.g. one active 100k 1-Step, one active 100k Scale Up).
Total cap: $300,000 combined notional value across all active evaluation accounts per person.
Accounts created in violation of these limits may be cancelled.
Can I hedge or copy trades across my own accounts?
Copying between accounts you own and exclusively control is allowed when the strategy complies with every account’s rules. Opening coordinated opposite or correlated positions to bypass risk limits is prohibited. Account sharing and allowing another person or service to manage an MFC account are also prohibited.
Can I share my account or let someone trade for me?
No. Accounts are non-transferable. Account sharing, lending, or letting third parties trade on your behalf is strictly prohibited and results in immediate breach.
Can I change my name on the account after registration?
Once an account has been activated and used, name changes are not permitted. Make sure all account details are correct at the time of registration.
I'm an existing customer — how do the v4 pricing changes affect me?
Grandfathering: all existing customers stay on the rules and pricing that applied at the time you purchased your account. The new v4 rules (Consistency Rule 15%, new Instant drawdown structure, updated pricing) apply only to accounts purchased after the v4 launch.
Your current account is unaffected. If you purchase a new account, it will follow v4 rules.
What's the refund policy?
Hard breach for prohibited trading: fees are forfeited.
No refunds on subscriptions or add-ons once a breach is recorded.
For technical issues or platform errors that prevented you from trading, contact support — we review case-by-case
KYC & Verification
Why do I need to complete KYC?
KYC (Know Your Customer) is required by financial regulations and protects both you and MFC against fraud. We verify your identity once, before issuing your funded account.
Only required when you reach the funded stage — not for the initial purchase or evaluation.
What documents do I need for KYC?
A government-issued photo ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID card).
A selfie taken in real time (handled inside the SumSub verification flow).
Proof of address may be requested in some cases (utility bill, bank statement under 3 months old).
All documents are submitted through the SumSub portal — we do not store copies on our servers.
How long does KYC take?
Typically 24–48 hours from the time you submit your documents. SumSub processes verification automatically, and most users are approved within a few hours.
If there are issues with your documents, you’ll receive an email from SumSub with guidance on what to resubmit.
Are there countries that are not supported?
MFC is available in 180+ countries. Some countries are restricted due to regulatory or sanctions reasons. The full list is checked at registration — if your country is restricted, you’ll see this immediately.
Commonly restricted regions include sanctioned countries and certain high-risk jurisdictions.
Do I need to redo KYC for additional accounts?
No. Once you’ve passed KYC, it covers all your future accounts under the same name. You only verify once.
